Native Grass Meadow

We also installed a 12' x 24' native grass meadow, in which plants will be allowed to grow to full size. The species used in the meadow correspond to the numbers in the diagram:

7 Purple needlegrass (Nassella pulchra)

8 Junegrass (Koeleria macrantha)

9 Molate' red fescue (Festuca rubra)

11 "Native Preservation Mix" (Koeleria macrantha, Nassella pulchra, Nassella cernua, and Festuca rubra)

12 "Native Mow-Free Mix" (Festuca occidentalis, Festuca idahoensis, and Festuca rubra).
